The Universe. It started with the Big Bang. First, there was one particle, one force, and then, in a random instant, it exploded into four forces and as many different things you could think of, including humans. But doesn't that kind of remind you of humans? At first, humans are an egg. Then, when you least expect it, a little sperm comes along and BREAKS the wall of the egg and from then on the egg starts to expand and multiply into trillions of cells. In the beginning of the universe, it starts out as one unknown thing, and with that one tiny ass little thing, it has many life forces in one. For some unexplained reason, that tiny nothing decides to expand and multiply is particle to gases which in turn make up the entire universe.
After the sperm is implanted in the egg, and is cultures for approximately 9 months, a baby bursts into the world as a screaming ball of blank slate. It has no thoughts, beliefs, wishes. It only has desires. Now, the Universe, it is like a mother. It created the right environment, and now a baby galaxy has been born. And that galaxy starts off afresh, a bundle of gases which turn to make stars, planets and anything else. But, because that baby galaxy has to grow up on it's own, it can take the form of anything it wants.
Unfortunately, humans aren't like this and need to be constantly supervised, but some animals never have to know their parents. But, if you want, you can bring religion into this.
